The Care Certificate
Every new Healthcare Assistant or Clinical Apprentice must complete the Care Certificate.
“The Care Certificate is an identified set of standards that health and social care workers adhere to in their daily working life. Designed with the non-regulated workforce in mind, the Care Certificate gives everyone the confidence that workers have the same introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high quality care and support.” – Skills for Health
The Care Certificate must be completed within 12 weeks following your induction into the
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust.
Support is offered by the Talent for Care team to make sure that you have everything you need to complete the certificate.
In the future we hope to put on regular Care Certificate training for mentors and for candidates.
