Apprenticeships

Our Trust offers a wide range of apprenticeships in both Clinical and Non-Clinical roles.

Apprenticeships are a great way to learn as you earn. Each apprenticeship offered by the Trust enables you to work towards a nationally recognised qualification and gain hands-on work experience within an NHS team. All of our apprenticeships are advertised on the NHS jobs website. If you have any questions, email us.

Why you should choose our Trust

We work under the national Talent for Care strategy and Principles ‘Get in, Get on, Go Further’. We want all of our apprentices to be successful within their roles, and offer a wide range of support to make this possible.

Our apprentices receive the same range of benefits as our other employees within the organisation. This includes:

  • Full annual leave entitlement
  • Regular training and development
  • Access to NHS discounts

The entry requirements

An apprenticeship is open to anyone over 16 who doesn’t hold a degree. There are no qualifications necessary, but we will make sure that you can cope with the work involved.

Many of our apprentices stay within our Trust, and we work alongside you at the end of your apprenticeship to support you into a role that suits you, either within the team that you’re in or somewhere else within the Trust.
