Statement: CWPT express its profound sadness at the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
On behalf of the Board and all of the staff at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, we would like to express our profound sadness at the news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Her Majesty led our country through challenge and triumph and was a strong, dedicated and passionate leader. Her support for the NHS and its workforce was evident and highlighted this year when she awarded NHS staff the George Cross for their compassion and courage over the last 74 years, but particularly during the pandemic. We will be eternally grateful for all she did for our country and our NHS.
The NHS and indeed our nation, will come together during this time of mourning to remember with affection, our longest-reigning Monarch.
We would like to send our sincere condolences to the Royal Family, and all who loved her at this time of national mourning.
