Ramadan Kareem from Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Partnership Trust (CWPT) to our local Muslim community and we would like to wish the local Sikh community a happy Vaisakhi. Local health leaders at CWPT are also encouraging everyone to observe Ramadan and Vaisakhi safely this year. – and to not delay in getting their first, or second, dose of the COVID-19 vaccination during Ramadan.
Read Observe Ramadan and Vaisakhi safely - make sure you get vaccinated…The NHS in Coventry and Warwickshire are calling on anyone aged 50 and over who hasn’t had their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine to attend one of our walk-in clinics taking place this weekend and next weekend.
Read COVID vaccine walk-in clinics…We are aware of a Freedom of Information (FOI) response that is circulating on social media relating to the number of COVID deaths at our Trust. We wanted to clarify that the data in the FOI response is correct, and that CWPT has not had any patient deaths on our wards since the start of the pandemic.
CWPT provides mental health, learning disability, autism and community services across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull. If a patient in our care became severely unwell after testing positive for COVID, they would be transferred to one of our local Acute hospitals to access expert medical treatment.
