Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) has appointed Sonya Gardiner as the new Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) is opening its doors at Brooklands Hospital for a Recruitment Open Day event, looking to recruit Healthcare Assistants (HCAs).

The event is taking place on Friday 24 September, 9.30am – 4.30pm, where you can come and meet our teams, take part in fast-track interviews, learn more about the Trust, our services, and our patients.

Our health and care services across Coventry and Warwickshire are exceptionally busy at the moment, with some days this week seeing tremendous peaks in demand for our ambulances and accident and emergency departments.

My journey into a career within sexual health services started in 1996 when I worked for a nursing agency as a support worker. One day the nursing agency contacted me to see if I would be interested in a week’s placement in sexual health at Genito-Urinary Medicine (now Integrated Sexual Health Services Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust – CWPT).

This Suicide Prevention Day (10 September), organisations in Coventry and Warwickshire want to raise awareness of the local and national services and support available, particularly in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic which has impacted the mental health of so many.

Last week, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) closed the doors at the vaccination centre at NAEC Stoneleigh for the last time after delivering nearly 160,000 COVID vaccinations as the local NHS and partners move on to the next phase of the COVID-19 vaccination programme.
