Nominations are open for Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust’s (CWPT) Q Awards; the Trust’s annual celebration of the dedicated people and teams that work at CWPT and the excellent work they do to improve the lives of the people and communities they support.

Anyone working or volunteering at CWPT can be nominated for a Q Award. People across Coventry and Warwickshire are invited to nominate a person or team they feel has gone the extra mile to help them or to deliver exceptional services. This could be a member of the public who believes someone deserves to be recognised for providing exceptional care, a member of staff from CWPT or a partner organisation working alongside someone inspiring change for the better, or a volunteer at CWPT who wants to highlight the exceptional work of a team or service.

Jagtar Singh OBE, Trust Chair, said “The Trust’s annual Q Awards is an opportunity to come together to celebrate and recognise exceptional individuals and teams. Our teams change lives, and we really appreciate their effort to make a difference.

“I would encourage anyone who has experienced our services and appreciated the help and support they have received to consider nominating and letting us know about it.

“This year will be my last Q Awards as Chair for CWPT, and it has been an honour to be on the judging panel for the past 10 years. Seeing our incredible staff through the eyes of our service users and colleagues is always inspiring, and I expect this to be no different in 2024.”

Mel Coombes MBE, Chief Executive, said ‘We’re delighted to welcome nominations for this year’s Q Awards. It is always a brilliant event, filled with heart-warming and impactful stories of how our staff and volunteers make a difference, day in and day out.

CWPT provides high quality care through the dedication and hard work of our teams and individuals, and we look forward to recognising their work and celebrating together at this year’s Q Awards. So that we can celebrate everything that makes CWPT great, we want to hear about CWPT heroes. We look forward to receiving your nominations!”
