New App Library coming to Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) is launching a new App Library which is being demonstrated on 2 February. Join the demonstration and let us know what you think.

What is a Health App and Health App Library?

Health Apps can provide real support with a wide range of health and care needs, and help patients to take their health into their own hands.  There are lots of health apps available, but not all are safe/relevant to use, and many useful apps may be difficult to find when searching traditional app stores.

To overcome this problem and make accessing relevant apps easier for our staff and patients, CWPT are working with a company called ORCHA to produce a tailor-made App Library.  The Apps within the App Library will be tested for clinical effectiveness, safety, data security, usability and accessibility.

How can I get involved?

Please join the online demonstration and feedback session on Wednesday 2 February at 11am-12pm.  The session will:

  • Provide information on how the App library will work
  • Look at the value health apps provide
  • Ask for feedback on the site we are developing
  • Ask for feedback on what you think the health library needs to provide and how

If you are interested in taking part please send your details to WeareListening@covwarkpt.nhs.uk.  You will then be sent a Zoom meeting link so that you can access the event.

And if you have any questions about the event, please contact us by email on WeareListening@covwarkpt.nhs.uk.
